At least it didn't end up in a fight.

Well the no fighting thing is all good and fine, but I was hoping to add some Dwarven "throw-down on the road" rough sex to my collection of perverted D&D art. Maybe next time. And very well done on the display of the Dwarven mindset. Went back and read the Gazetteer because of this scene.

I'm not sure the way I'm portraying Dwarves is 100% in line with the Gazetteers, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't directly contradict them either.

I wouldn't say it's just dwarven men...

When I rolled up 2 Dwarves as a random encounter, I thought about it and decided to take the time to develop Frya and her relationship with the greater Dwarven culture.

Hasn't ended up in a fight *yet*. Maybe we haven't seen the last of those dwarves.

You seem understand how this comic works. No promises though.

Game play at my house is the same. A random encounter with what could have been a just a cardboard cutout NPC turns into a reoccurring NPC (both good guys and bad).
I guess kind of like Bargle from the introductory scenario in the Red book. The dude starts off as a 2nd lvl MU, killing off another NPC and ends up at like 30th. But along the way we get glimpses of his rise to infamy.
